Open Sew

When: Sundays  1:30-4:30, Mondays 6:00-9:00PM, Thursdays 1:00-4:00PM, Fridays 9:30AM-12:30PM

Bring your own project, sewing machines and supplies.

Enjoy the company of others and have fun sewing and chatting. Louise has extensive quilting experience and can  help guide you along if you have a problem or a question.

Spinning Pinwheels

When: August 17, 24, September 7. 6:00-8:30PM

A charming project that can be made with a fat quarter collection and Deb Tucker’s Tucker Trimmer 1 tool. Each set of pieced units actually creates two blocks at the same time. The pieced border allows you to use up lots of additional fabric bits and pieces.

A fun project using 2 ½” strips  that even beginners could  enjoy making. Several sizes to choose from.

Bali Wedding Star

Pattern by Judy Niemeyer

When:  Sundays- Oct.1, Nov.5, Dec.3 and Jan. 21. 12-4PM

Fee: $120( includes all four dates)

Teacher: Cheryl Martel

 This project uses the paper piecing techniques designed by Judy Niemeyer and which she has imparted to Cheryl. The step by step method makes the project easier to understand and results with a beautiful quilt. You may make any size quilt or a bed runner.

Jelly Roll Sampler Quilt

When;  Saturdays   October 7 and 21.  9:30AM-12:30PM

Fee:  $40 for both dates

Teacher: Louise  Pankiewicz

A bright fun quilt to make using 2 ½ “ fabric strips from a jelly roll. Several blocks are made  using light and dark fabrics and then placed as desired to make this sampler quilt. This is a lap size project but could be made bigger using more than one jelly roll.
