Feeling left out because you missed playing in fall AMBA JAMBA? Or did you play and want to do it again? Either way, spring AMBA JAMBA is on the calendar for Friday, April 5th. Signups are available now. This will be a 10-team tournament. If we don’t get 10 teams, the event will be cancelled. Get your friends together and form a team for a fun night of hoops. Stop by Student Activities if you have any questions. As a reminder, spring sport athletes and members of this year’s basketball teams are not eligible to participate in AMBA JAMBA.

Please note the class schedule change for Wednesday, March 27th: classes for the day begin at 7:50, as usual; it is no longer a "late start." It has been changed to an early-release day, with classes ending at 1:35 that afternoon. And here's why: At 2:00 on that day, Senior Haley Jones will be playing in the McDonald's All-American Basketball Game in Atlanta, Georgia. Head coach of our women's basketball program. Ms. Sue Phillips, will be coaching in the game, along with her assistants, Ms. Tami Monson and Mr. Joe Guerra. The game is being broadcast on ESPN 2. Here on campus, we will be broadcasting the game in Aymar. So, we encourage you to come by Aymar and watch your Monarchs in the most prestigious high school all-star basketball game of the year.
