March 23, 2018
Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.
The Fourth Commandment
Honor your father and mother, that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.
What does this mean?
We should fear and love God that we do not dishonor or anger our parents and others in authority, but honor, serve, and obey them, and give them love and respect.
Jesus lives! The vict'ry's won!
Death no longer can appall me.
Jesus lives! Death's reign is done!
From the grave Christ will recall me.
Brighter scenes will then commence;
This shall be my confidence.

Please read the book your child has chosen several times throughout the week and return it on Tuesday next week. We will wait to begin our math bag until we have learned the routines.
This week in class we will be reading the books, “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom,” “David Goes to School,” “If You Take a Mouse to School,” “Pete the Cat Rockin’ in my School Shoes,” and “First Day Hooray!”
Not all of our centers will be open right away, but we will slowly open them as we learn how to take care of the items. Later this week our science center will have magnifying glasses and items to explore. Our fine motor area will have stickers and we will put them on the first letter of our name. This week in the art center we will use glue, scissors, and markers.
If you have not brought in your child’s gym shoes, please do so this week. Also, don’t forget the extra set of clothes!
