The Archbishop of Canterbury (writes ‘The Rambler’ in the Daily Mirror[1]) is giving sittings at Lambeth Palace to Mr. Philip de Laszlo, the artist, for the portrait [4632], which the members of the Church Assembly are to present to the Archbishop as a tribute to his services on behalf of the Assembly and also of the Church Houses. Dr. Randall Davidson is getting on to his eightieth year, but in spite of hard and continuous work is maintaining a surprising degree of physical vigour.
