About the Timeline

In the game’s universe, the “Galactic Calendar” was adopted by the Galactic Senate following the events before (BTC) and after (ATC) the Treaty of Coruscant. This calendar system differs from the “Galactic Standard Calendar (Legends),” which is used to reference ALL of Star Wars; and is centered around the destruction of the first Death Star at the Battle of Yavin (BBY/ABY), from Star Wars: A New Hope.

Not every character, event, battle, death, birth, victory, or defeat will be mentioned; but

relevant sources will be provided for further reading.

There will be conflicts in dates, the order of events, and the time between events; and between different source materials; and between SWTOR and the rest of the Star Wars franchise.
