Executive Order 9:
Relocation of the Executive
April 4, 2021
--------------------------------------
Whereas, the city of Springfield has served as an appropriate temporary location for the executive since the Great Conglomeration of the five states in January 2020;
Whereas, although Springfield has been completely satisfactory as a capital, it serves as a better home to the assembly and the courts than to the executive;
Whereas, Lansing is home to a greater population of Superians than Springfield and more aesthetically-pleasing architecture than the city of Springfield;
Whereas, EO1 was marred by a minor spelling mistake;
Now, therefore, I, Charles Baines, Governor of the State of Superior, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and statutes of the State of Superior, do hereby proclaim as follows:
Section I: Revocation of Executive Order 01
- Executive Order 001, in its entirety, is hereby declared null and void.

- This building shall henceforth be known as the Superior Governor’s Mansion.
- The Superior State Senate shall continue to operate fully in the capitol building in the city of Springfield.
- All executive agencies, offices, and departments who have already relocated to the Elliott-Larsen Building will be viewed as acting in full accordance with this order.

Signed,

Charles F. Baines
Governor of Superior
