RHIEWPORT,

BERRIEW,

MONTGOMERYSHIRE.

1st June 1913

Dear Mr De László

Many thanks to you for your note, and for the Cards of Admission to the Private View of the Portrait Painters’ Exhibition.[1]

How much we should like to be there! We are dreadfully disappointed that we cannot come to London until the 17th or 18th, we have so many things

to do here in the next fortnight. I suppose the Exhibition will be open all this month of June? We are very glad that the picture [112057] is to be exhibited[2] - it is such a fine piece of work, it deserves to be seen more than it can be in the country, though it is greatly admired & appreciated here.

I am sending my cards to my brother - I hope this

is quite permissible.

We were at Stratford on Avon the beginning of May for part of the Shakespeare Festival, which we enjoyed enormously. I think Mr Benton was finer than ever.

I hope that you and Mrs De László are quite well and the boys flourishing.

With our kindest regards, I am | yours sincerely,

Isabel M. Howell
