Copying Sharestream Films Between Courses (even if someone else uploaded the video)

In order to get a video from someone else, that person must enroll you as an instructor in the course where the video is shared. Then you can copy the video to your own course. Or, you can copy a video from a past course to a current course.

Copy Movies

1. Select the course where the movies are stored at on the left, and highlight the movie you want to copy.

2. Right click on the title of the movie, and hit Copy Asset.

3. You will get a new pop-up window. Choose the course where you want to place the movie into from the collection tree and hit Ok.

4. Last step, make sure that the movie you copied/moved is in the desired location and make sure that the movie is playable.

Note: If you have multiple movies to copy, you have to do it one by one. It only allows you to move if have more than one movie selected.

Move Movies

1. Select the course where the movies are stored at on the left, and highlight the movie you want to copy.

2. Right click on the title of the movie, and hit Move Asset. The movie you moved will no longer exist in the previous course.

3. You will get a new pop-up window. Choose the course where you want to place the movie into from the collection tree and hit Ok.

4. Last step, make sure that the movie you copied/moved is in the desired location and make sure that the movie is playable.
