The children will give examples of ways people can help keep their environment clean. 

What are some of our natural resources? 

  1. The teacher will review resources farnes and builders use.
  2. Ask the children how can we keep the Earth clean.
  3. Read aloud the poem “Keeping the earth Clean.”
  4. The teacher will display a picture of a forest and rivers.
  5. The teacher will lead the children to see that trees are useful to make homes, furniture, and all kind of paper products. Reivers are important because people need water to live.
  6. Ask: What are resources? What can we do to conserve our resources? Why do we need to keep the Earth clean? What would happen if we do not keep them clean?
  7. The teacher will talk of about importance of recycling.
  8. Discuss how we can help the Earth.
  9. Ask: Name some of the natural resources? How can we recycle paper at school? How does using something again and again help keep the Earth clean? Why do people turn off the water when they brush their teeth? What would happen if we begin to run out of water?
