This initial itinerary is a sample itinerary and does not reflect any academic programs. ARAMFO offers its travel courses to all fields of study. Therefore, our initial itineraries serve as a reference for the types of activities and locations available in the region. All customizations for academic programs are made on a case by case basis.

Day 1 Budapest | Transfer from the airport to hotel in a private coach 2 hours walking tour to introduce Budapest and local places. Back to hotel Dinner |
Day 2 Budapest | On Mondays museums are closed in Hungary so we plan to show them the historical Budapest as follows: 3 hours tour in the Memento Park Lunch in a local restaurant Visit Demokratikus Koalíció Újbuda / Democratic Coalition Back to hotel for a short break 2 hours cruise with dinner on Danube river Back to hotel |
Day 3 Budapest | Meet your guide in the lobby at 8:00am. Day tour to the National Museum Lunch break Free afternoon Dinner and back to hotel or to Ruinpubs Budapest as optional activity |
Day 4 Budapest | Meet your guide in the lobby at 8:00am. Lunch break Dinner and back to hotel or to the Opera as optional activity |
Day 5 Vienna | Meet your guide in the lobby at 7:00am to transfer from Budapest to Vienna Full day tour in Vienna in a private coach. The tour in Vienna includes: Augustinerkirche Hofburg Palace Albertina Staatsoper Ringstrasse |
Day 6 Bratislava | Meet your guide in the lobby at 8:00am. Post socialist city tour in Bratislava. This is a must-do in Bratislava. Post socialist tour includes: - WWII Slavin memorial - Petrzalka, largest communist-era housing district - transformations of former industrial areas - UFO bridge (Most SNP) and Apollo bridge and many other things on the way from the bus. The tour includes private bus with driver, English speaking guide and a Slovak soft drink and waffle bar for each participant. Back to hotel for a short break A short tour in Bratislava, dinner during the tour, and back to hotel |
Day 7 Bratislava | Check out the hotel around 4:00pm: 2 hours walking tour in Bratislava: streets of the old town and Bratislava Castle. Opera as an optional activity at 6:30pm |
Day 8 Budapest | Transfer to Budapest for final departure to Atlanta |
