Seven Pillars of Character
Integrity: doing what is right because it is right
Kindness/Compassion: the state of being kind, warm-hearted, and considerate; going out of your way to be nice to someone or show a person you care
Respect: Treating people and property with care
Responsibility: do what you are expected to do and accept the consequences or results of your actions
Self-Discipline: controlling one’s words, actions, and reactions
Sportsmanship: fair play, respect for opponents, and polite behavior by someone who is competing in a sport or other competition
Trustworthiness: deserving confidence; dependable
This year, we have chosen to bring awareness to the seven pillars of character to be upheld throughout Wall School. The 6th-12th grades are assigned a character trait and will be working with that specific trait (and all others!) to demonstrate to the rest of the student body during the school year.
Some things to remember this year:
But most importantly:
Character is who you **REALLY** are. Reputation is who people **THINK** you are.
