MONTCLAIR
1, GRANDE VUE
BELLEVUE (S&O)
Paris 5th February 1931
Dear friends,
This note is to introduce you to Comte André d’Humières who, with Gramont, is my oldest and my dearest friend, – and also yours, as you will not be indifferent to hear that the work of László is as familiar to him as it is to me, since he was one of the first, in France, to have the revelation of it, as it has been more than thirty years since we discovered together, in Munich, this great painter through two of his portraits, which were not the least: a Leo XIII [4509] and a Rampolla [4511].
With these various titles d’Humières cannot fail to be welcomed by you with hearty kindness when he brings to your home our faithful remembrance.
Your friend
Léon Bélugou
