Table Top Inventing - Podcast Guest Questions
Table Top Inventing is on a mission to save the world! Seriously though... We have a big mission – inspiring a generation of kids to be tinkerers, explorers, innovators, and deep thinkers by giving them the tools they need to create, invent, and become world changers! That is why we want to talk to YOU!
Thank you for taking the time to complete this guest intake form. We are VERY interested in what you think about the current state of education and where things might go from here, and VERY excited to have the chance to interview you for our podcast!
The form below will help us set up your episode page and give our listeners a look into who you are and why you do what you do. It should take between 10-30 minutes to complete. There are four sections:
This will help us get in touch with you. You can also indicate if you would like this information published on your episode page.
Scheduling date/time preferences - We try to schedule all of our interviews on Wednesdays but can be flexible that does not work out for you.
We like to use a short bio (3-5 sentences) to introduce you before the interview, and a longer bio to add to the episode page. This helps our audience understand who you are.
What job title would you like to have listed on your episode page?
What work, school, or other affiliation would you like listed on your episode page?
Highlight who you are in 3-5 sentences. Don't worry about adding too much. We can edit if we need to. This will be used for your introduction at the beginning of the interview.
If you already have a bio online that you would like us to use, add the URL here. You can also copy/paste the information you would like us to include on the episode page.
What would you like us to link to on your episode page? These can be work, personal, special projects, interesting resources - in short anything that you think listeners would be interested in that relates to you. Include the site name, the URL, and a very short description.
The responses here can be brief. You can include as little or as much detail as you would like.
List a quote here that has been inspirational to you. This could be related to learning, teaching, or anything else you find inspirational. Include the author, if known.
A teacher can be many people - they can be a professional educator, a mentor, a parent, a friend, or a stranger. Can you briefly tell us about a teacher that made an impact on your education and why they are important to you?
What was the last thing you made? It doesn't have to be complicated - cookies? someone smile? a homemade card?
What is the most recent new thing you have learned (either about or how to do)?
What's next? It's as easy as 1-2-3!
(1) We only need one more thing - a couple of pictures that we can use on your episode page. The best pictures are ones that show you doing what you love to do. We would also like a headshot image if that is available. Please send your pictures to "email@example.com".
(2) You should be receiving an email shortly with a PDF copy of your submission. If there are any additions or corrections, send them to the email address above.
(3) Cindy, our master scheduling wizard, will be contacting you to set up the best time for your interview. Her email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you so much! We can't wait to set up your episode page!
