COMMUNITY CALL TO ACTION: MASS PHONE & EMAIL CAMPAIGN

  1. EMAIL GW ADMINISTRATION: DEMAND A MEETING

Send immediately (on Mobile): https://tinyurl.com/DemandsforGWAdm

EMAIL TEMPLATE:

Members of the GWU Administration,

I am writing to demand that the university administration immediately revoke the interim suspensions placed on 6 students who have been fighting for human rights and justice for Palestinians. I condemn this administration's tactics of manipulation and repression, and demand a meeting for the students with Granberg to address their needs.

It is your moral imperative as an administrator to address the concerns of students. The fight for Palestinian liberation is urgent and we will not be ignored. I stand with the students.

The students' demands are as follows:

  1. Drop the charges against pro-Palestine student organizers.
  2. Funding transparency for all investments.
  3. Protect pro-Palestine speech on campus.
  4. Divest from companies selling technology and weapons used to facilitate the Zionist genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
  5. End all academic partnerships with Zionist Institutions.

The students who remain in U-Yard embody what it means to be a leader. This university claims to appreciate activism and powerful students yet is working to punish students for speaking against war crimes and inhumane atrocities abroad. Scare tactics, including barricading and threats of interim suspension, will not inhibit the student movement. Our community will only grow stronger, become more resilient, and become more united.

The Palestinian movement advocates for liberation of all oppressed people and it is time that GW's administration steps up and puts students before profit. Historically, every social justice movement led by students is one society praised years later. The students are united in their cause and will not stop advocating until administrators recognize their suffering and meet their demands. We demand faculty and administrators hold themselves accountable and urge President Granberg to meet with students. The time for change is now.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]

Hello. I am a ___ of George Washington University, and I am calling to demand that the university administration reverse the suspension of student organizers and reinstate academic and housing status for these students.
