Hallo Boze Kippen! (Dutch for Angry Chickens)
Let me preface this by stating that I'm not a very experienced Arena player, but I've logged quite some games in constructed, so today I figured I give Arena a try. What's the worst that could happen, right?
Having just constructed my mage deck, I enter my first match. I face another mage.
Starting off, I get to play a minions on both turn 1 and 2. My opponent doesn't. This is going great!
Turn 3 my opponent plays a Kabal Courier, which is easily contested by my Clockwork gnome.
Turn 4, another Kabal Courier. Feeling like I'm winning the tempo game.
Going into turn 5 he kills one of my minions with a surprise Bane of Doom. And from the deepest circles of RNG hell, pops Jaraxxus! NOOO!
Turn 6 I play The Beast, which isn't great but my thinking is it could get a decent chunk out of that 15 HP demon. Which it does, followed by a Firelands portal on turn 7 ending the Jaraxxus terror.
At least, that's what I thought. A secret is triggered. Duplicate, "Discovered by Kabal Courier".
With fear in my heart of what's coming, I decide to concede before having to face the impending OBLIVION, prophesied by the Kabal Courier.
So much for Arena then.

I think I might have a solution to the Arthas/Death Knight being a hero. What if Arthas starts as a Paladin then when you equip Frostmourne or play a card like murder your father he becomes a Death Knight. New hero power, and new class cards. I imagine that you build a pally deck and a DK deck with provision that the mana curve is identical to the pally deck. That way when you play the card to become the DK then cards with the same mana cost will be replaced.
Hope I explained that okay?
The same could be done with a Illidan being a druid then becoming Demon Hunter. He would need to absorb Gul’dans Skull. Lore nerds could help make it work in a story sense.

Hey Angry Cluckers!
I'm an OG Blizzard player from the days of Warcraft II Tides of Darkness and love your podcast. In Hearthstone, I've been a loyal playing a priest and paladin deck (for years). Last week my ADHD got the best of me and decided to cash all my cards for dust and build a Renolock deck. Bad idea, I sold all my rare and epic cards to build this deck and ended up not having enough dust to finish it. Now I'm screwed because I worked forever and paid good money to gain a nice collection of epic and rare cards and they are pretty much gone with nothing to show for it and I don't know if I can stomach paying another 50$ to finish the Renolock deck. I feel like I should go back to WoW at this point.
What would you do?

Hey everyone! I wanted to start off by saying how much I appreciate your podcast on a weekly basis. Always a highlight to the week.
So I had a question regarding coaching. I wanted someone who actually has a good pair of eyes to watch me play hearthstone and help with what to do. I am at a lull in my hearthstone gaming and I wanted to have someone to give me advice and all of that. I don’t really know anyone personally who plays hearthstone and the meet ups where I live (Seattle, WA) are always when I am at work. I was curious if you guys could connect me to anyone who could do some coaching for me!
