Addition Race/Subtraction Race

Materials:  Two dice (6-sided, 12-sided, 0r 20-sided),  Gameboard

Goal:  To determine which sum/difference is rolled the most.

To Play: 

1.  Each player takes turns rolling the dice.
2. Toss the dice and find the sum if you are playing Addition Race or find the difference if you are playing Subtraction Race.
3.   Place a counter in the column above the sum or difference.
4.   Play until one column is filled.  That number is the winner!
5.   Think!  Why do you think the number won?  Do you think the same number will win when you play again?
