Subject: Project 2 Pitch Script

Problem: We’ve noticed that students in our college need faster access  to  buy used textbooks. Right now there are many paper  posts  on the walls around the campus.  They have way too much information that  confuses students and makes them run away. Also, a lot of students don’t get their textbooks on time due to  dilate shipping.  By the time texbook is announced and ordered online, professor already is asking for homework to be completed for following class. Therefore we came up with the solution.

Goal:  provide student a better and secure buying textbook experience.  Then, plug in the personal experience in the past when having the difficulty of purchasing textbooks.

Benefits:

• connect students (freshmen example);
• declutter common space on campus (posters on the wall example)
• provide a more secure online shopping experience
• eliminate shipping fees
• Save the trees (Go Green)

Participants: CityTech students, three assigned departments’ faculties

Deliverables:  flyers, Facebook (group event invitation), Facebook website
