College of Science Scholarships: Applications are now being accepted for 2017-2018 scholarships sponsored by the College of Science. Full information can be found here and a flyer is attached. The deadline to apply is 4:00pm, Friday, January 27.

Remember, as a Geosciences major, you are eligible to apply for three levels of scholarships (University, College of Science, and Department of Geosciences). All scholarships require students to have applied for university financial aid (online application is now open). Information about scholarships sponsored by the Department of Geosciences will be posted in February, including in this newsletter.

Department of Geosciences Seminars - Save the Dates:

i​UTAH Now Accepting Applications: The iUTAH Program is now accepting applications for the 2017 iFellows Summer Undergraduate Research Program . The program provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to gain first-hand research experience in the labs if iUTAH project scientists, working on projects related to Utah's water resources and water future. Application deadline is February 10. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

Two Summer Job Positions Open: The Ashley National Forest seeks to fill two seasonal Hydrologic Technician positions stationed in Vernal, UT.​ If you are interested, please see the attached flyer for more information.
