Welcome/Announcements are printed
Opening Song: Many and Great, O God (Chalice 58)
Many and great, O God, are thy things, Maker of earth and sky.
Thy hands have set the heavens with stars;
thy fingers spread the mountains and plains.
Lo, at thy word the waters were formed;
Deep seas obey thy voice.
Grant unto us communion with thee, thou star-abiding one;
Come unto us and dwell with us;
With thee are found the gifts of life.
Bless us with life that has no end,
Eternal life with thee.

Words of Institution:
Jesus shared a meal with his friends.
He took the bread, blessed it and gave thanks.
He broke it.
He shared it with everyone saying,
This is my body, broken for you and for many
Take and eat
After supper he took the cup
He blessed it and gave thanks.
He shared it with everyone saying,
This is my blood, poured out for a covenant of love
Take and drink
Jesus invited us to this simple, sacred act, in remembrance of him, whenever we gather. All are welcome. Come and receive

Isaiah 61:1-4
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me
because the Lord has anointed me;
She has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed,
to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives
and release to the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
to provide for those who mourn in Zion—
to give them a garland instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
the planting of the Lord, to display his glory.
They shall build up the ancient ruins;
they shall raise up the former devastations;
they shall repair the ruined cities,
the devastations of many generations.
