And we want you to work with us!
Who are we?
The Strand, established in 1953, is the Victoria College student newspaper within the University of Toronto. We publish 12 times a year, including a bi-annual themed magazine. Copies are distributed in Victoria University buildings and across the University of Toronto’s St. George Campus. We are a proud member of the Canadian University Press (CUP).
The Strand flagrantly enjoys its editorial autonomy and is committed to acting as an agent of constructive social change. As such, we will not publish material deemed to exhibit racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or other oppressive language.
