Dear Mr László,
Your letter was sent on to me here, as I have been here ever since my mother[1] [&?] had such a very serious [sic] that for 3 days we were terribly anxious, wether [sic] she was going to pull through – But thank god her sound heart & strong constitution

triumphed & she is now well on the road to recovery – So I am returning to St. Cloud tonight – But will be back in May to join my mother in London when she is fit to be [moved?] there – Hoping to see you again [soon?]
