What is a Campus Showdown?

• A USTA sponsored one day, short format tournament open to juniors, college players, professionals and adults.
• The tournaments are run on college campuses, with the college coach acting as tournament director.
• Draws are usually compass draws with matches being one set with a tiebreaker at 5-5, although format and scoring is at the discretion of the director.
• Entry fees are kept low to provide access to full range of players.
• No officials needed.
• These tournaments are non-sanctioned, non-ranking events.

Specifics of Coe’s Campus Showdown:

The draw will be a compass draw.  Participants will be guaranteed 3 matches, with each match being 1 set (tiebreaker at 5-5).  Details regarding start times, and the draw, will be sent to participant’s email address as the event nears.  Entry fee is $20 per player.  Warm-up courts will be available starting at 7 AM.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided on site.
