Season 3 — known as the Everfrost Era or Ice Season — is the third major seasonal phase of Last Z: Survival Shooter. The map transforms into a frozen tundra where the old desert ruleset is completely replaced and mountains become frozen lakes. If you survived Season2(Desert/Tiles/Sapphire/Cactus), consider S3 a fresh start with new rules.
Feature | Season 3 — Everfrost |
Map Theme | Snow / Ice — frozen tundra biome |
Tile Occupation | REMOVED — no tiles to fight over |
Sand Sapphire | REMOVED — gone for good |
Cactus | REMOVED — no more cactus tiles |
Resource Enemies | Boomers & Creeps replace tiles as the main resource source |
Season Buildings | Similar upgrade style to S2 buildings, but ice-themed |
Glory War | Returns in Week 3 — same basic structure as S2 |
New Heroes | Licia, Liliana, Dodomeki (Wings of Dawn faction push) |
New Event: Frozen Rescue | Ice creature/sculpture hunt — 10 rescues/day cap |
New Event: Snowman Mania | Snowflake → Snowball collection for Snowman upgrades |
Arctic Fishing Hole | Weekly mini-game: fish with hooks via Daily Tasks Top players control the pits |
Hero Level Swapper | New feature — swap levels and skill levels between heroes |
💡 PRO TIP: S3 is fundamentally simpler than S2 in terms of map complexity — no tiles means no need for complicated tile-capturing logistics. Your energy pivots to creature kills and event participation. Manage Fuel
Understanding the season calendar lets you plan your resources weeks in advance. Use this as your roadmap.
Period | Phase | Key Actions / Focus |
Week 1 — Day 1 | Season Start / Exploration | Scout map — locate Boomers (Frostbanes), Creeps, Yeti. Begin building S3 season buildings. Claim your free Hero Level Swapper. Do NOT use it without a plan. |
Week 1 — Day 3+ | Resource Grind Begins | Kill Boomers & Creeps daily. Upgrade season buildings. Begin Snowman Mania tasks — farm Snowflakes. Join Frozen Rescue when Cold Snaps occur. |
Week 1 — Day 7 | First Fishing Reset | Complete Daily Tasks to earn fishing hooks. Fish in correct holes for the target fish species. Trade duplicates with allies. |
Week 2 | Mid-Season Push | Accelerate Snowman leveling — aim for Level 20 ASAP (see warning below). Keep killing Yeti & Boomers for snowballs. Continue Full Preparedness tasks. |
Week 3 — Start | GLORY WAR BEGINS | Alliance Center placement begins. R5/R4 coordinates formation. All members rally to defend. Refer to Glory War section. |
Week 3+ | Glory War + Grind | Maintain creature hunts alongside Glory War. Heal troops efficiently. Monitor alliance ranking for season rewards. |
Season End | Final Rankings | Personal + alliance rankings locked. Reward chests distributed. Prepare for next season migration. |
⚠ WARNING: The Snowman activity was reset mid-season in the first S3 batch with NO NOTICE — all progress was lost. Push hard to Level 20 early in case this happens again. Do not rely on slow, steady progress.
In S2 you fought over tiles. In S3 you fight creatures. Everything revolves around two core actions: killing creatures for season resources, and spending those resources to upgrade season buildings.
Your Greenhouses and Bio Lab are the backbone of your S3 resource engine. How you level them directly controls which Boomer and Leopard tiers you can unlock — and therefore how fast your frost cores and season resources accumulate.
ALLIANCE TIP (iEmil) Constantly upgrade your Greenhouses and Bio Lab to unlock higher-level Boomers and Leopards. This will increase your rate of resource gain. Similar to Season 2 — spread the levels of Greenhouses and Bio Lab equally, then move on to the next level together.
Season Building | Priority | Reason |
Greenhouse | HIGH — upgrade equally | These produce Rss like tiles |
Bio Lab | HIGH — upgrade equally | Increases Virus Resistance |
Command Post | HIGH (Military) | Provides Damage % bonus — best military building for power gain |
Other Military Buildings | MEDIUM (Focus after everything else) | Level as resources allow — useful but not as impactful as Command Post |
Creature | Primary Drop | Notes / Alliance Intel |
Boomer (Lv1-10) | Season Resources (More) | Aim for 15 Boomers per day to hit daily limit — they give the most frost cores. Check reward screen to see how many you've done. Level pairs give same FP points (Lv7 = Lv8). |
Leopard (Cat) | Season Resources | Only use Leopards for First Clear AFTER you've collected frost cores from your 30 Boomers. Exception: if critically low on fuel and no choice. |
Yeti / Glacier Kong | Snowballs + Season Resources | Defeat twice daily + 5 on Sundays for max rewards. Let whoever hasn't hit daily Yeti quota get the LAST HIT — that player gets the daily reward. Rally Square Lv.25-30 reduces fuel cost. Lure Glacier Kong to your hive then send multiple rallies (if other alliances haven't noticed). |
Frozen Animals: Mammoths | Orange Equipment Fragments | HIGHEST VALUE animal — the only consistent F2P source of orange equip frags |
Frozen Animals: Cold Hoofs | 300 Badges per Hoof | Best animal target for F2P badge farming — prioritize over Pigs |
Frozen Animals: Pigs (Hogs) | 200 Diamonds + 30 Fuel/Diamonds | OK if you need diamonds or fuel specifically — otherwise lower priority |
Frozen Animals: Foxes | Orange Skill Books | Low priority — not worth the fuel in most cases |
ANIMAL RESCUE PRIORITY (iEmil) Go for Large Ice Sculptures first. Mammoths and Mooses give the highest value. Hogs if you need fuel/diamonds. Avoid Foxes — orange skill books are not worth the fuel cost. Animals Rescue runs Monday to Wednesday.
💡 PRO TIP: F2P Priority Order: Boomers/Frostbanes x15 daily (frost cores + snowballs) + Cold Hoofs (badges) + Mammoths (orange equip frags) + Creeps (snowflakes) + Pigs only if you need fuel/diamonds. SKIP Foxes.
Snowman Mania is the flagship S3 event. Your goal is to level up your Snowman to 5-stars, which grants a massive 30% boost to troop attack AND defense. This is non-negotiable — every active player must push this.
Snowman Level | Buff Provided | Notes |
Level 1 | Minor attack buff | Starting point |
Level 3 | Moderate troop buffs | Mid-season target |
Level 5 ★ (Decoration) | +30% Troop Attack & Defense | Ultimate goal — requires all fish + Level 17-20 achieved |
⚠ WARNING: Snowman progress was WIPED mid-season in the first S3 run with zero notice. Players lost all progress at around Level 20. Push hard early — do not pace yourself slowly. Level 17+ after a reset is achievable; Level 20 before the reset is the ideal.
💡 PRO TIP: Attack Yeti and Boomers (Frostbanes) as your DAILY PRIORITY for snowball farming — they drop the most snowballs of any enemy.
It IS possible to earn the Level 5 Snowman decoration (which grants the +30% ATK/DEF buff) as a F2P player. But it requires all three conditions to be met:
Condition | What You Must Do |
1. Hit Level 20 BEFORE any reset (or Level 17 AFTER reset) | Grind Boomers (Frostbanes) + Yetis for snowballs from Day 1. Do not pace slowly. Reach Level 20 as early as possible to survive any mid-season reset. |
2. Hit Level 17 after a reset (if reset occurs) | If your snowman was reset, Level 17 is still achievable in the remaining timeframe — but requires consistent daily snowball farming without pause. |
3. Obtain ALL fish from Arctic Fishing Hole | Missing even one fish species blocks the Level 5 decoration. Trade duplicates with alliance members, fish the correct holes, and track what you need. This involves some luck but is doable with coordination. |
Yetis and Glacier Kongs are your other major source of seasonal resources. Unlike Boomers which have a daily limit tied to frost cores, Yeti kills are about consistency and smart fuel management.
GLACIER KONG TACTIC (iEmil) When a Glacier Kong appears: attack it ONCE to lure it toward your hive, then send multiple rallies in quick succession. This concentrates firepower and kills it before other alliances can interfere. Act fast and communicate in alliance chat when you spot one.
⚠ WARNING: If a Yeti is targeting your HQ: immediately start a rally on it then cancel the rally. This diverts the Yeti's attention away from your HQ without spending fuel.
ALLIANCE TIP (iEmil) S3 is ALL ABOUT managing your fuel properly. This is the key lesson that separates good players from great ones this season.
💡 PRO TIP: Fuel Rule: Boomers first (frost cores daily limit) → Leopards only for First Clear → Yetis twice daily → Saga Zombies on Sunday/Tuesday with free fuel. Never burn fuel on Leopards before your Boomer quota is done.
Animals Rescue is a time-limited event running Monday through Wednesday. Ice sculptures appear on the map containing frozen animals. Prioritize by value — not all rescues are equal.
Animal | Priority | Notes |
Mammoth (Large Ice Sculpture) | S TIER | Orange Equipment Fragments — highest value rescue in S3 |
Cold Hoofs(Large Ice Sculpture) | S TIER | 300 Badges per kill — strong F2P badge income |
Hog (Pig) | B TIER | Only if you specifically need fuel or diamonds |
Fox | D TIER / SKIP | Orange Skill Books — not worth the fuel. Avoid. |
Cold Snaps periodically trigger across the map. During these windows, ice creatures and mysterious sculptures appear. Rally your alliance to rescue them before they disappear.
Rule | Detail |
Daily Rescue Cap | 10 rescues per player per day — maximize every single day |
Trigger Condition | Cold Snap event must be active — watch for map notifications also a button on top left |
Disappearance | Creatures vanish when Cold Snap ends — act fast |
Teamwork Required | Share coordinates in alliance chat immediately when found |
Rewards | Season resources + special items depending on creature type |
💡 PRO TIP: Assign 2-3 dedicated scouts in your alliance to monitor the map during cold snap hours and immediately ping coordinates in chat. Speed wins this event.
A weekly mini-game where your alliance fishes using hooks earned through Daily Task completion. Each hole (and its level) contains different fish species — careful hole selection is critical.
💡 PRO TIP: Track which fish you need in alliance chat. One missed fish species can block your Level 5 Snowman decoration — trade aggressively with allies.
Glory War returns with the same core objective: destroy the opposing alliance's Alliance Center. The S3 version is essentially identical to S2's Glory War — but without the sapphire/cactus complications that caused defensive headaches.
Without sapphire/cactus tiles as gaps, your defensive web can be cleaner than in S2. The principle remains the same: surround your Alliance Centers like a circle with no holes.
FORMATION RULE : Same as S2
⚠ WARNING: Do NOT trash your structure without explicit instruction from R4/R5. Accidental trashing during Glory War creates gaps that enemies can exploit immediately.
Season 3 introduces three new heroes. We suggest start pushing Wings of Dawn faction forward. If you've been a Blood Rose player, now is the time to evaluate a gradual transition — though players who have maxed Blood Rose heroes will face a harder switch.
Hero | Faction | Acquisition | Priority |
Licia | Blood Rose | Battle Pass | HIGH — get her early |
Liliana | Wings of Dawn | Battle Pass | HIGH — get her early |
Dodomeki | Guard of Order | Battle Pass | MEDIUM — follow events |
Every player receives ONE free Hero Level Swapper during Week 1. This is a powerful tool if used correctly. Use it wisely — you cannot get another one for free.
Swap Scenario | What Transfers |
Same Rarity → Same Rarity | Hero levels AND skills both transfer |
Different Rarities | Hero LEVELS transfer only — skills stay with original hero |
💡 PRO TIP: Use your free Swapper to redirect investment from a maxed-but-less-useful hero toward one of the new S3 arrivals. Plan this carefully before using — it cannot be undone.
BLOOD ROSE VETERANS If you have deeply invested in Blood Rose heroes, do NOT panic-swap everything. Evaluate whether transitioning delivers enough marginal improvement given how many new hero fragments you can realistically earn in S3. Gradual investment in Wings of Dawn while keeping Blood Rose for existing battles may be more efficient.
The Battle Pass remains one of the best investments in S3. It includes hero fragments (Licia), speedups, resources, and more. If you are going to spend anything this season, the Battle Pass is it.
Most Value for money. Must buy even for low spenders (2000 Gold bars)
The Wartime Investment option boosts march speed, virus resistance, and resource production. For active, daily players these translate to real advantages — especially during Glory War. For casual players the impact is less pronounced.
S3 rewards active alliances much more than solo grinders. Creature kills, Frozen Rescue, Snowman cooperation, and Glory War all benefit massively from coordination.
Task | Daily Limit | Importance |
Clear snow from allies' shelters | 5x per player | CRITICAL — free snowballs for all |
Share Frozen Rescue coordinates | As needed | HIGH — time-sensitive |
Perform Frozen Rescues | 10x per player | HIGH — daily cap always fill it |
Donate to Alliance | Daily | MEDIUM — ranking + alliance tech |
Gift fish to allies | As available | HIGH for Snowman Level 5 path |
Boomer / Frostbane rallies | Multiple | HIGH — join all active rallies (same creature, ice reskin) |
Yeti creatures can target and attack your HQ directly. This is disruptive and can cause troop losses.
YETI DIVERSION TRICK If a Yeti is targeting your HQ: immediately START a rally targeting it, then CANCEL the rally. This diversion action forces the Yeti to redirect its attention elsewhere without expending any troops.
💡 PRO TIP: Advanced use: Yetis can be used to deliberately eliminate EXCESS or UNDESIRED troops that you want to clear from your roster. If you have troops you need to cull, let the Yeti attack — it's a fuel-free way to remove them.
The main target for most players should be to get all 3 marches to a similar power level. Only then swap to Wings of Dawn. Go slow, don't be weak in Arena
Faction | Best Troop Type | S3 Relevance |
Wings of Dawn (Scarlet, Licia, etc.) | Shooters | NOW TOP PRIORITY — S3 heroes push this faction hard |
Blood Rose | Assaulters | Still viable for existing maxed players — don't abandon overnight |
Guard of Order | Riders | Niche — not popular but functional for dedicated builds |
