The Catalyst:

I’m sure by now, you’ve all seen this tweet:

Regarding the twitter user PokeOnion/Jay:

I assure you, it was only the tip of the iceberg.

You wanted proof, Jay? Here it is.

First Strike: Racist Tweet/The Implications Behind It

In case you weren’t around for the first nail in the coffin, let me revisit this tweet, and the implications behind it.

This is not okay.

This tweet was made in response to various people who were criticizing him, most of whom were POC.

The historical comparison of black people to monkeys dates back to a horrible history of eugenics, zoophilia, and experimentation on black people.

And as you can clearly see in the tweet above, it does indeed carry racist undertones with it. So do not look me in the eye and tell me that there were no “racist implications” with that tweet, Jay. You were heavy-handed with it, so you must bear the consequences of misinformation, and a refusal to learn.

When one of your friends tried to dissuade you from doing the same thing again, it was clear

that you could care less.

It doesn’t matter if it’s what you intended, because you used a racially charged meme against a group of POC. @/Ameriboo, @/Sibfromonline, @/Neblitweets, @/Angryumbreon, /@Chargerupgaming, and any others absolutely had the right to retaliate in the way that they did. Especially after you said this in response to Isaiah (@/chargerupgaming). It’s also notable that the nature of using the word ‘delusional’ is ableist.

And this message was sent to him by one of your supporters. (@/RadCharizard)

I will be linking articles to more in-depthly explain the history behind the comparison of POC to monkeys:

Why it’s racist: calling Black people “monkeys” | Norville Rogers

Comparing black people to monkeys has a long, dark simian history (theconversation.com

Second Strike: Punching Down on Marginalized People/Blatant Provocation/River’s Harassment

In comedy, there is a term known as “punching down”, a term used to describe jokes made about marginalized people/communities. This is a prime example of that. Punching down is as old and outdated as the comedians you claim to model yourself after. You are not a comedian, Jay. You are a white boy on twitter making misogynistic jokes.

I don't even want to hear “it was just a joke”, because even if you meant it that way, you clearly hold misogynistic values close to your chest, as can be seen in screenshots taken from your discord server.

@/Ameriboo, @/Sibfromonline, @/Neblitweets, /@ChristmasRiver, /@Angryumbreon, and the others involved did not strike first. Don’t say the match started the fire when you were the one who lit it.

Jay’s cult of personality (@/mismagiuslore) tagged them in the post to get a reaction. With everything else that happened before, I’d say that their response was justified.

Twitter user @/ChristmasRiver, after seeing Jay’s tweet, rightfully called him out for this comment, and in retaliation, his mentions were flooded with people quite literally manipulating, and harassing him in an attempt at changing his opinion.

River is an autistic minor, and the fact that this many people came after him because he was defending his values, and his friend, is disgusting.

Women can be sexist too, the same way POC can be racist, and the same way LGBTQ people can be homophobic. Sakura is one woman. A single woman's opinion does not represent what is and isn't sexist – she cannot testify in the name of all, specially when she could be talking over non-white, non-cisheterosexual women.

Third strike: the Discord Community

Jay’s discord is heinous. There are no other words to describe it. I will be addressing it in layers.

Homophobia/Transphobia

The word gay and the f-slur are thrown around as insults, lassez faire, and degrading remarks are made about other members of the lgbt+ community.

Misogyny

As I said before, Jay clearly holds misogynistic values. Once is coincidence, twice is happenstance, three times is a pattern.

There are also instances of them making rape jokes.

Rape is not funny. It is not something to be joked about. The way they use it betrays the nature of what they believe rape actually is: dominating someone, and not something incredibly traumatizing.

Racism/Use of the N-word

Islamophobia/Anti-Semitism

These posts are connected to a different discord regarding the Pokeelections that users such as @/PokeOnion and @/RadicalCharizard are part of. Blatant antisemetic posts are made, and Allah’s name is regularly taken in vain and the Islamic faith mocked.

Touya/ @/Touyarokii:

Touya is the biggest account I know that is involved in this, with over 12k followers.

She has claimed to have drawn, and posted pictures of a character that is a minor in the NSFW channel of Jay’s server.

This is sexualization of minors, plain and simple.

She has also vehemently voiced support for Jay in the server, and is clearly on amicable terms with him, and has several borderline inappropriate interactions with him. Keep in mind that Touya is an adult in this situation, and Jay is a minor.

Jay’s Supporters:

This is not to cancel his supporters. It is to curate your online experience, and to help keep yourself safe. If you are uncomfortable with Jay’s behavior, then it is my belief that you may want to block anyone associated with him as well.

@/OoC_SwSh:

PokeOnion and his friends have retweeted and/or commented on multiple times, posts and pictures from the twitter account @/Ooc_SwSh, which is in essence, a twitter account made to share screenshots of conversations of their group chat. Going through all the pictures they've posted, there is a pattern of oversexualization and fetishization of brown/black characters, series of bigoted comments and also some jokes of pedophilic nature – and the NSFW talks between minors, adults and prepubescent children. The topics they discuss are overly sensitive and the fact that the actual adults endorse this and play a part in it is disgusting and predatory. Keep in mind that this information is all public.

Shotacon/Lolicon

NSFW

Adults interacting inappropriately with minors.

Kage is 20. They are interacting with underage individuals, and engaging in NSFW conversations with them.

Sexualization/Fetishization of POC.

Once again, proof of different age groups interacting and discussing NSFW topics.

Racism.

Transphobia.

Misogyny.

Final Thoughts:

I know they’re not ashamed. Why else would some of this be public? But this is not for them. This is for the people that are trying to keep themselves safe, the people that are uncomfortable with associating with him, and for the people that want to keep the community safe.

They can keep jerking each other off if they want but at least it just stays with them far away from the rest of the community. His following is full of impressionable young teens who want to be "Cool" on the internet and people like Jay allow them to think being a bigot is cool. I think it's important they see a (hopefully) massive negative reaction to comments made by Jay and his friends compiled in this document.
