The New Deal Priming Activity: List Group Label 

Divide the class in small groups of 4-5 in each group.

Give each group the following group of words (to save time – cut them apart first).

Ask students to make at least 2 categories with the words (they can more than 2) and label the categories they created with sticky notes.

After each group has completed the sorting, they should view how other groups categorized their words.
