Austen and Mrs. Chamberlain gave a dinner party last evening at Claridge’s, at which the guests included the American Ambassador and Mrs. Houghton, the German Ambassador, the Brazilian Ambassador and Mme. Regis de Oliveira, the Austrian Minister, Viscount and Viscountess FitzAlan, Viscountess Harcourt, Lord and Lady Askwith, Lady Cunard, Lady Lister Kaye, Sir Horace and Lady Rumbold, Sir Robert Horne, Major-General Sir John and Lady Hanbury-Williams, Sir Cecil and Lady Hurst, Colonel and Mrs. Carnegie, Mr. and Mrs. De Laszlo, Mr. Monck, and Mrs. Sapte.
