Jocelyn mentioned in your last show that she would like to see the numbers related to Yogg-Saron. As it seems, somebody listened to her longing. Hearthhead has posted this video on YouTube looking in depth at the stats behind Yogg-Saron. I myself am preparing an infographic for it as well, which will release shortly after OldGods is released, over on hearthstone.blizzpro.com where all my infographics were released so far.

Hello people I vaguely listen too in the background whilst I play Hearthstone!
After the announcement of standard for Hearthstone I decided now was the time to try and take ranked more seriously so I pre-ordered the new expansion, purchased both Blackrock Mountain and League of Explorers as well as 50 of both Classic and The Grand Tournament card packs to bolster my collection.
After completing both adventures I decided to start watching old live streams of top tier Hearthstone players and how they got ready for Goblins vs Gnomes and the Grand Tournament and one thing I noticed was that most if not all live streamers opened between 100 to 200 card packs! With this information I have started to worry that the number of pre-order packs I possess, even with all my other preparations, will not be enough to help me break into the new meta. My goal is to rank up past my limit of rank 17 and finally entering the meta of rank 16 and higher.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and any advice on ways I can better prepare for Standard would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Garrett, Jocelyn, and Dills,
In episode #141, Jocelyn made a point about the “slow drip of cards” making it difficult to know how good a card could be. This got me thinking.
Should Blizzard create Prerelease events to reveal the cards or should they just post the full card list during the expansion announcement and be done with it?
Personally, I’d like to see a special Tavern Brawl event where all of the cards in the new set are available for building a deck. It would be a great way to playtest new combos, clarify any confusing card interactions, and generally get a feel for how the new cards will impact the Meta before being unleashed on the ladder.
