Wordle of terms used by teachers and students in creative writing.
To produce a mighty book, you must choose a mighty theme.
- Herman Melville[2]
Summary: The Romantic authors, like any good authors, wrote about their lives and their life experiences. Some wrote poetry inspired by nature and their imaginations. Others wrote nonfiction witnessing the injustices that moved them to action. The American Voice continued to grow and represent its people, too narrowly for some and too broadly for others. Those conflicting voices have not been stilled and continue to inspire contemporary writing. What inspires and compels you to write?
