- The teacher will explain that our outer body parts began to rest as soon as they stopped moving.
- Ask: Is everything inside our body rest too when our outer body rest?
- The teacher will talk about what is happening inside our bodies.
- The teacher will help the children find their heartbeat by placing one hand on their left side of their chest.
- Ask: What makes the thumping? Is the beat slow or fast?
- Help the children find their pulse in their neck and wrist.
- The teacher will explain that outsides and insides of our bodies are made of facinating, moveable, and useable parts.
