Scholastic Honors Day

DHS Class of 2017’s Kyla Patterson and Lexi Brown represented DeWitt High School at Governor Asa Hutchinson's Scholastic Honors Day on May 13, 2017.

Contest Winner

Congratulations to Ana Barajas, a junior at DHS. Her logo design was selected as the winner in a state-wide design contest for the 2017 Arkansas Business Education Association Conference. Ana will receive a $50 gift card and her design will be featured at the ABEA Conference in Hot Springs this August. Congratulations, Ana!

DHS Art Winners

Six DeWitt High School students are winners in the 2017 Easter Region Student Art Competition, held at EACC in Forest City on April 27, sponsored by the Arkansas Art Educators. The winners are:  Brooklyn Rutherford, 1st place in the 9th grade division; Zoe Gasaway, 2nd place, and Devin Carrington, 3rd place, in the 10th grade division; Austin Mitchell, 1st place, Mickey Cupples, 2nd place, and Gauge Lane, 3rd place, in the 11th grade division. These students competed with art students from 14 schools in the Eastern Region. Austin’s and Brooklyn’s art work will be displayed in the AAE State Show in Little Rock in June. Congratulations to these students!
