Starts with Albus's birth. They first talk about how he's different from the other 2 siblings and that he's like Eurus from Sherlock Holmes... Like he doesn’t show any feelings of empathy or love. Then obviously he gets put into Slytherin and Scorpius becomes friends with him... The only friend actually cus he's kinda like an outcast and Albus doesn’t really wanna make friends. They’re just friends cus Scorpius goes after him and likes to hang out with him all the time. Harry feels disconnected from his son but he doesn't know why... He just thinks it’s usual father-son stuff and it can be fixed by hanging out and stuff but that doesn't work. Now Scorpius tells Draco everything about Albus and the things that the two of them do and most of the time they’re very mean pranks and borderline cruel and sometimes evil. So Draco tells this to Harry but he doesn’t believe him... But when he sees Albus during holidays and stuff, how his behavior only reminds him of one person: Voldemort. At first, he thinks that the idea is just plain stupid and ignores it. But in the 4th year of Hogwarts for Albus, there’s a fight between him and another kid and he nearly kills him without showing signs of remorse and is only stopped by Neville. Then he actually thinks, maybe there's something going on with Albus that's related to Voldemort. He talks about it with Hermione and others and even Dumbledore's portrait. And this is what they find: The Horcrux which was inside harry never really died... Because for a Horcrux to be destroyed, the container should be damaged beyond repair and that didn’t happen. And it is also advised not to use living objects for Horcruxes because there's a greater danger of damaging them, at the same time there isn't much information on the topic. The only known living Horcruxes were Harry and Nagini. When Harry returned from the dead, the Horcrux was damaged but never fully destroyed... It lived inside Harry like a harmless parasite... Just there without causing any trouble. Like a recessive gene... But when Albus was conceived, this part of the Horcrux bleeded into him and became dormant within him. So the Horcrux lived on. Not as Voldemort but as Albus with all of Voldemort's personality... This is really hard to explain cus this had never happened before. Even Nagini, the closest thing to a living Horcrux did not have any offspring so Harry has to deal with magic that no one else has ever encountered. Now to destroy the Horcrux the container must be damaged beyond repair which means killing his son. But he doesn’t want to do it. At the same time, he doesn't want to see him become like lord Voldemort... Due to evolution, Albus will be better and smarter than Voldemort and since he already knows Harry's story, he won't be making the same mistakes and he’s also not tied down by any prophecy. If the Horcrux is not destroyed, he might become the greatest dark wizard of all time... Harry's mission: Finding a way to destroy the Horcrux without killing his son and to do it before it's too late. The title is still gonna be Harry potter and the cursed child.

When Harry is trying to find what’s wrong with Albus and when he’s looking for ways to destroy the Horcrux, the information about his existence and his connection to Voldemort gets leaked to people who still believe in him and his ideologies about muggle-borns and how wizards should be superior and shouldn’t be in hiding. Even though the original death eaters are long gone, these people form a new Alliance, to fight Harry and the others and prevent them from destroying the Horcrux and their goal is to rise again with Albus as their leader / main Weapon.

Harry gives his invisibility cloak to Albus when he’s 11 (Christmas gift) - need to justify why he didn't give it to James or Lily

And when he’s in his third year, he gets detention for doing something bad and has to go to the forbidden forest with Hagrid and Scorpius

And he finds a strange-looking stone that was glittering in the dark

He doesn’t know what it is, yet, he’s a kid and doesn’t miss any dead people yet, so it doesn’t work on him

And we can have a thing where Harry and Albus argue, and unlike in the play where Harry says, I don’t want you as a child, we’ll play it differently where Albus has his wand pointed at Harry and Harry’s like, you’re my son, I’ll always love you no matter what and puts up his hands

And Albus gets frustrated, shouts expelliarmus at Harry, and runs off

But unknowingly, cus Harry wasn’t thinking about it at the moment, since he was disarmed, Albus becomes the new master of the elder wand

The hiding spot behind Dumbledore’s portrait is only known by Snape, Dumby, and Harry

When Harry puts the elder wand away, he puts it there, so that no one else can find it

Obviously, the elder wand can’t be physically destroyed like in the movie, otherwise, Dumbledore would’ve done it

He manipulates Hermione (like Tom with Slughorn) and learns about the hallows and how they can make someone the master of death, by this time, he already has the stone and the cloak

And he knows that Harry had the elder wand and that since he disarmed him, he is the master of it

Ron and Hermione were there when the elder wand was last seen and that was at Dumbledore’s office

So even though Ron doesn’t know where the wand is kept, he can assume that’s in there somewhere and now Albus knows about it

So he uses the invisibility cloak and stays near the gargoyle for someone to say the password

And as an extra measure, he drinks Polyjuice potion which contains Percy's hair

Cus you can’t really look around freely while being under the cloak

So he’s in the office and Dumbledore being Dumbledore is like “you ain’t Percy, I can see you through the enchantments, hello Albus Severus, I’m Albus and this is Severus

And then a similar conversation to what happened at the end of the order of Phoenix happens where Albus gets pissed off at Dumbledore and blasts his portrait

Dumby is fine, but Albus gets what he’s looking for

Albus leaves and dumbledore tells Phineas to go to his portrait in Grimmauld place and tell Harry about it

Harry goes to find Albus (borrows Ron’s Deluminator)

And then they fight

Albus injures Harry and is about to kill him, but he can’t go through with it and breaks down, and Harry realizes there’s still good within him and can be saved

Then Harry explains to Albus why he’s being like this, he hasn’t told him about Voldy being part of him blah blah blah

So after knowing this, Albus agrees to get help

Harry and the group get ambushed by the new death eaters trying to kidnap Albus to which they succeed and they also injure Harry. Ginny stays behind with Harry cus he can’t apparate, Ron and Hermione, Luna and Neville follow by tracking Albus using the Deluminator, but they get outnumbered and overpowered by the death eaters once they arrive.

So as a last-minute effort, Ron takes the old DA coin he’s been carrying around and writes SOS on it and the entire DA (the ones that are alive at least) shows up to fight (maybe a scene where one dude is “honey, where’s my wand???” - a reference to The Incredibles, Cho was making dinner and shows up wearing an apron and hits a bad guy with a wooden spoon XD)

They defeat the death eaters and get Albus back, and once they meet up again with Harry, Albus reassures him that the Death eaters didn’t convince or break him and still wants to get rid of the Horcrux that’s in him

At the end, after trying every magical method they could think of to destroy the Horcrux and failing, Harry and others look into muggle technologies and that’s where they find the solution.

After this incident, it leads to wizards and witches using muggle technology and objects more and more and incorporate them into their lives (like using pens and paper instead of quill, ink, and parchment, using electricity instead of lanterns, etc, etc)

Harry is an Auror at the start of this book, just like he wanted to, in book 5. But the injury caused by Albus stops him from being able to continue his job as an Auror. So at the end of the book he returns to Hogwarts, this time as a teacher (defense against the dark arts) and you get a scene where he and Neville are sitting in the staff room drinking tea and eating biscuits and Neville asks Harry if he’s okay to which Harry replies “I’m okay, I’m back home again..” (and all of Harry’s children come into the staff room to hang out and that’s where it ends)

Hermione at the beginning of this movie is an activist still fighting for the rights of elves, goblins, magical creatures, muffle-borns, etc, but towards the end, in addition to this, she also gets a new job to head the newly created department at the ministry of magic, to help incorporate muggle tech into the wizarding world

Ron also works as an Auror with Harry, but after Harry’s injury, he also decides to quit to spend more time with his family and to help out George at Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes

Ginny is a quidditch player for the Holyhead Harpies and plans on becoming a quidditch analyst once she retires from playing

Luna is traveling around the world and learning about other wizarding cultures (maybe visiting a wizarding school in Asia ;) )

Hagrid and Maxine got married and had a kid who’s sorted to Slytherin -

Dean and Seamus are dating, they’ve gotten married, and adopted a Kid (still not sure cus dean was straight in the original series, don't really feel like explaining how he switched teams) - just adding this for diversity’s sake lol

Prologue

The Potters of Number Twelve Grimmauld Place were proud to say that they were perfectly normal witches and wizards, thank you very much. They would be the last family you’d expect to be involved in anything weird or muggle-like because they just didn't hold with such nonsense. It had been 8 years since the battle of Hogwarts and Mr. and Mrs. Potter liked to think that their life had reached normalcy. Well, what one can consider normal when one has magical blood running through one's veins.

Harry James Potter was the head of the British Auror office, located at the Ministry of Magic. After his triumph over Lord Voldemort, Harry was able to join the Aurors' ranks, with relative ease, much to the dismay of a now very imprisoned Dolores Umbridge who read the news from a newspaper she managed to knick off one of the Azkaban guards.

Harry’s exceptional hatred towards the Dark arts, fueled his passion and magical prowess, allowing him to be one of the greatest dark wizard catchers of his time.

Ginevra Molly 'Ginny’ Potter was a star chaser for the all-female quidditch team the ‘Holyhead Harpies’. She was also a loving mother and a doting wife who still hadn‘t seemed to have gotten over the fact that she was happily married to ‘the boy who lived’.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Potter were proud parents of James Sirius Potter, now just 2 years old, but a vivid reflection of his father and grandfather before him. Except for his eyes. He had his mother's eyes.

The potters were, dare they say it? Happy. Yes, finally after years of death, darkness, and despair, Harry and his wife were experiencing unbridled happiness. The darkness that had clouded their past had long since evaporated and they were enjoying life. Surely, SURELY there was no need to worry?

*

Christmas had come and gone at the potter residence and after the festivities of exploding bonbons and exchanging magical gifts, Harry and Ginny (now 9 months pregnant) were brought back to reality. It happened on new years eve. The happy couple was lounging in front of the fireplace, watching James attempt to build a very temperamental jenga tower that screamed instructions at you, and started singing after it reached a certain height. Teddy Lupin, Harry’s godson now 8 years old, was attempting to distract James by vigorously changing the color of his hair, but to no avail.

‘Oh my goodness!’ Ginny exclaimed. ‘Harry I think my water just broke!’

Harry, suddenly out of his butterbeer-induced reverie excitedly looks towards his very pregnant wife and shouts ‘you’re joking!’

‘No Harry, the same way I wasn't joking when James was born, I don't see the point of making jokes about Albus either. So can you please wipe that look of disbelief off your face, and help me? We need to get to st. Mungo’s’

Sheepish, yet determined, Harry then lifts his first born son, now giggling at the harmonising jenga tower, and then proceeds to help his wife to the fireplace. Harry then takes a pinch of bright green powder placed on the mantelpiece and tosses it into the fire. Bright green flames erupt and the family of soon to be 4, along with a slightly confused Teddy, step forward into the flames.

A curt ‘St. Mungo's!’ from Harry sends the potters straight to the fireplace at the hospital.

‘Could someone help us, please? My wife is in labor, ' Harry asks the receptionist at the table.

The receptionist looks up and upon seconds of registering the lightning-shaped scar on Harry's forehead her expression switches from exasperation to excitement as she exclaims ‘CAN I GET A HEALER OVER HERE STAT??!’

After a whirlwind of flying parchment, two healers arrive with a wheelchair to escort Ginny to the delivery room. Harry follows, slightly red at all the attention. Ginny, noticing this, smirks saying,’ honestly, I can't even be in labor without you hogging all the attention.

After several minutes and an almost hand-crushing squeeze later, the baby crowns and is born. At first glance, the jet black hair reminds harry immediately of his own but the second harry looks into his new son's eyes, bright green eyes lock on bright green eyes. And then for the briefest of moments, for the first time in 8 years, Harry's hand reaches up to touch his scar.

Chapter 1

Albus and James were two very lucky children. Ignore the fact that they were brought up by two literally magical parents, and a metamorphing cousin; they were also brought up with genuine care and love.
