Your last letter gratefully received, thank you.[1] I am sorry that the reproductions did not turn out as well as we would have liked, despite all the effort that our people put into the work. We will do our best to improve things.
I will gladly publish your portrait of Marshall Byng of Vimy [3666]. I will also photograph the Speaker of the House’s office and that part of it where your portrait [110886] is temporarily displayed on a stand, so that you can see how it looks.
I am very pleased that I will see you in London over the summer. I let my wife in on the secret and it made her

very happy.
There will be plenty of time meanwhile for me to keep you informed about the things that concern you.
