A meeting of St Germans Parish Council will be held at the Polbathic Hall

On 5 August 2013 Mr Nigel Witton was co-opted onto the Parish Council as a Ward Councillor for the St Germans Ward

6.        Burial Ground

6.1       Request to reserve Plot CR24 in the cremated remains section and to have a

            2ft x 2ft Memorial Tablet

6.2       The original burial ground has now been registered with the Land Registry –

            see 7.7        

6.3       The new half acre has been cleared, rotivated and sown with grass seed.

6.4       Pear Technology quote for the digital mapping of the burial ground including

            the digital mapping software and records using an Excel spreadsheet/Access

            Database - £800 plus £75 per annum for technical support and software

10.3     Enforcement advise that the operational development to form the lake at The

            Crags, Tideford Cross was completed more than 4 years ago and is therefore

            immune from formal enforcement action

10.4     Notification from Cornwall Council of new enforcement case – EN13/01744 –

            Construction of buildings at the sewage treatment works, Eliot Drive,

            St Germans  

10.5     Cornwall Council advise that there are currently no ‘Introduction to Planning’

            training sessions arranged but that there will be some ’Affordable Housing’

            sessions soon

10.6     Menheniot Parish Council arranging a Neighbourhood Planning meeting to

            include St Cleer, Quethiock, Morval, Dobwalls, Kiskeard, Linkinhorne and

            St Germans – emailed to all Cllrs

11.1     The Standards Committee welcome comments on the Code of Conduct which

            should be received by 4.10.13. Emailed to all Cllrs

11.2     Sarah Mason from CALC has met with Cornwall Council to discuss the

            election charges. The fee for the Returning Officer is a standard charge to

            cover the cost of all the work per electoral ward for the whole duration of the

            electoral process
