Art Gallery

There are two main goals of this art gallery. One is to celebrate and appreciate the art you create as advanced photographers. The other goal is to use photography as a vehicle to give back and help others in need. Here is a great article on how people can use photography to do good.

For the art gallery, you will submit and edit an original print that will be enlarged and sold at a silent auction. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to a local charitable organization voted on by the students involved. Ideally these prints represent some of your best and most creative work. The images you choose will need to be large enough (after editing) or have enough resolution to make roughly a 16x20 print.

You will also create a presentation that will continually run during the event. This presentation should include 25 quality images that you would like to showcase. The presentation needs to loop or run continuously. You will be required to help set up for the event as well. Since the event will take place after school, your attendance is encouraged, but ultimately up to you. You will receive 20 points of extra credit for attending and participating.
