The boys are all very well. John, the youngest has just left for an expedition to Spitzbergen, with seventeen others from Oxford and Cambridge.^[1] The expedition is supported by the universities themselves, with the Royal Geographical Society, and we are glad to have him go, as it will be a great experience and a little hardship will do them no harm, they are inclined to be spoilt in town, and also at Oxford.
