TERMS OF SERVICE:
BASIC INFORMATION:
“Damon Billiot,” is a freelance digital artist specializing in creating artwork and animations. All information regarding commission rates and other related details are outlined here. Upon sending payment, the commissioner formally accepts all terms of service outlined in this document.
For all “artwork” commissions, canvas size is to be discussed between both parties. If not discussed, the canvas size will be decided by the artist in a manner that enhances the artwork. The assumed file type will be “.png” unless otherwise specified.
For all “animation” commissions, the assumed resolution will be 1920x1080 HD. The assumed file type will be “.MP4,” or in some cases, “.MOV” unless otherwise specified.
ARTWORK COMMISSIONS:
Single Character:
“Genga” Style Drawing: -$45
“Flat” Colored Drawing: -$65
Anime-Style Composite: -$75
Other: -To Be Decided by Artist and Commissioner
Add-ons:
Additional Character: +$20 per character
Effects work: +$0 (conditional)
Background: +$0 (conditional)
Other: -To Be Decided by Artist and Commissioner
NOTE:
CONDITIONAL “ADD-ONS” are FREE under the condition that the artist, Damon Billiot, Can add them as he sees fit to the drawing. If the commissioner requests something specific that the artist determines may cause complications or substantially increase the workload, a monetary charge will then be discussed and agreed upon by both parties.
ANIMATION COMMISSIONS:
Animation commission prices will be decided by the animator and commissioner according to the scope of the project. Generally, Damon does not accept commissions for lower than $300.
The artist has the right to refuse any project for any reason.
50% of the agreed upon price is to be paid up-front as a down-payment to begin the project.
The other 50% of payment will be given after the storyboard and sketch phases, but before the lineart phase. Here is a breakdown of Damon’s process:

NOTE:
The artist retains the right to alter this process as necessary depending on the project. Payment will be discussed accordingly.
The commissioner has the right to choose to pay 100% of the price up front. There is no discount for said action, though this raises prioritization of your project and may speed up the process.
If the commissioner requests something specific that the artist determines may cause complications or substantially increase the workload, a monetary charge will then be discussed and agreed upon by both parties.
OTHER NOTES:
-Upon receipt of full payment, the Commissioner shall have ownership of the final artwork/animation created by the Artist/Animator, including all associated rights, subject to any limitations specified in this Agreement.
-Either Party may terminate this Agreement by mutual written agreement, specifying the terms and conditions of termination.
-The Commissioner may request reasonable revisions or modifications to the Commission during the creation process. The Artist/Animator agrees to make good-faith efforts to accommodate such requests.
-If the Commissioner requests substantial changes or modifications beyond the original scope agreed upon, the Artist/Animator may require an additional fee
-The Artist retains the right to reproduce, modify, or distribute the final artwork/animation for commercial purposes
-The Commissioner attains the right to reproduce, modify, or distribute the final artwork/animation for commercial purposes after full payment
-This contract is made void by any scam or theft by either party
