My dear Pet –
Am writing in train so it must be pencil & I have [found?] a bit of paper in my bag – I want to greet you on Sunday, tomorrow, morning – for I am sure you will be lonely the first Sunday by your little lone self. I shall write & send you in [pen?] as soon as I look it up on my return & then you’ll be able to answer me next week with it

We feel the house very empty without all the dear boys – Pat[1] does all he can to fill up the big gap –
I expect dear [mumms?] wont be able to write [today?] – as she goes early to see Daddy & has several appointments besides – Uncle Noel[2] has come over & is to see her today –
