EVENTS IN DATE ORDER
Operation Recomply: Glasgow Film Theatre screening has been POSTPONED from Tue 14 July to 20:15 Wed 22 July. Tickets
Life Support: A newly released film which Ken Loach says is “Compulsory viewing”. It tells the story since October 2023. Gaza has been sealed from the world-except for one group: international doctors. While global media are barred from reporting and governments look away, doctors breach the blockade and what they find is not just a humanitarian crisis, but a calculated dismantling of life itself. Covering the entire two years of the genocide, their first-hand accounts, including from MAP Chair Dr Nick Maynard and Glasgow Palliative Care specialist Dr Mhoira Leng with visceral footage, give a rare and vital chronicle of the daily struggles of healthcare workers as they navigate bombed-out hospitals, dwindling supplies, starvation and the overwhelming influx of casualties— predominantly women and children. Local screenings include: 1900 Tue 14 July Odeon Braehead, G51 4BN; 17–22 July, MacRoberts Arts Centre. 31 Aug. Glasgow Film Theatre, 12 Rose St., G3 6RB. (Q & A question panel will start immediately after this screening). More

These works are for sale to raise money for the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund, a vital organisation providing essential on-the-ground treatment to children who have been injured during Israel's campaign of genocide. Framed paintings and drawings will be sold for £100 each. Prints will be sold for £20 each. Or you can also donate any amount to the Fund directly via this link and visit the exhibition Instagram page here.
