Summer/Seasonal Job Opportunities

Looking for Summer Work?? Major Goolsby's at EAA opportunity. Major Goolsby's is interested in having students from Winneconne work with us at EAA this summer.  The event runs from July 23rd - 29th.  We use the weekend of July 21st - 22nd as training dates and like to schedule employees for short shifts on one of those two days just so they can get a picture of who we are and what we do.  We will hold an employee meeting on Thursday, July 19th at the Vintage location - probably around 6pm.  There will be a brief run down of expectations and the staff can turn in paperwork and pick up passes and uniforms as well.   We would love to have you work with us this year.  We are looking for  employees that are reliable, conscientious, hard working....no job experience is necessary.  We like to train people in the "Goolsby way" of doing things.  Generally, we hire students who are at least 16 and older.  (We love to hire adults, as well.  Working with us at EAA is a great job for teachers, too!)    To show our appreciation for helping us staff the event, Major Goolsby's will donate $75.00 to the Winneconne athletic fund for each "Winneconne connected" person who is hired and works all of his/her scheduled shifts.

Any student interested in this great opportunity should email or stop in and see Mr. Whitford by April 30th and he will forward your name to Major Goolsby's and they will then contact you.

HIGH SCHOOL DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Friday,  April 20,  2018

Happy birthday today to Sydney Hall and Noah Henslin!

For our final project of this year’s chapter of National Honor Society, we are leading a project where students and community members can better their environmental “paw” print.

Community members can get involved by participating in our tennis shoe drive. Nike’s Reuse-A-Shoe program collects new or used tennis shoes and recycles them into Nike Grind, a material used to create athletic and playground surfaces and more. Collection boxes are available in the elementary, middle, and high school offices, as well as at the high school track meet on Tuesday, April 17th. The collection will run from April 16th through the 20th. Please consider donating, as it goes to a very special thing!

As another way to improve our environmental “paw” print, we are selling reusable cotton “Winneconne Wolves” bags on April 17th at the Winneconne High School track meet. The money raised will go to the planting of trees around the high school campus.
