This week is National Teen Driver Safety Week. As many of you are either licensed drivers or working at getting your license we'd like you to realize that Distractions from peer passengers, nighttime driving and a lack of experience are some of the top risk factors for teen drivers. Graduated Drivers Licensing protects teen drivers by limiting their number of peer passengers and the hours they can drive at night while they gain more driving experience. Bring your temps or show your graduated driver's license during lunch on Thursday to play a game for a chance to win a prizes!

Winter Athletes: Winter Cheer Team, Boys and Girls Basketball, Powerlifting and Wrestling, just a reminder that your sports will be starting soon. Please get your online registration, ImPact test (if needed), physical/alternate year card and $50 fee all taken care of asap. No Practice will be allowed w/o all required tasks completed. What: Fox Valley Technical College Campus Visit Day

When: November 2 (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM)

Where: FVTC - Appleton

Who: 30 Students

Why: To give you the opportunity to understand the admission process, support services, tour a program area, and participate in a question/answer session with current FVTC students

How: How can you go? Stop in Student Services and pick up a permission form on the table by the door. Get this slip filled out, signed and turned into Mrs. Sailors in Student Services. The first 30 students to turn their completed slip in will be the ones attending.

Mr. Whitford is looking for 8-10 people to help park cars and collect parking fees on Saturday, October 21st from 8:30 am until noon at Lake Breeze Golf Course for the WIAA Sectional Cross Country meet. If you are interested email mail him whitfort @w-csd.org  or stop and see him back in the student services area. Easy way to get 4 hours of community service.

The food pantry in town is looking for help on Saturday, Oct. 21st for the Boy Scout Food Drive. The pantry is looking for help from 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM. WIAA Regional Volleyball: Tonight at 7pm the #5 Seed Winneconne Wolves Girls Volleyball team will be hosting #12 Seed North Fond du Lac at 7pm in the Winneconne HS Gym. ALL spectators must pay $5 at the door. No flags, noisemakers, signs etc will be allowed.  No passes, senior discounts etc. Door will open at 6 pm. Come cheer on the Winneconne Volleyball Team tonight!

Houston Donation Drive Results

Powerlifting season is right around the corner.  See information below!

Powerlifting Parent meeting 4:00 pm High School October 29th Wt Room- It should only take about 30-45 minutes. At this time I can also go though platform rules and regulations with any parents interested. I understand that this may be a new sport to many and would like to hopefully dispel any confusion of what happens on the platform.

Practice will officially start November 1st, 2017. Please get all needed materials in prior to 1st day of practice- Physical Card, Athletics Fees, Concussion exam and online registration completed.
