Guidance News:

Interviews for Helpers Fund Scholarship will be taking place in the Guidance Office today for the following individuals: Stephen Monroe at 8:30 and Shyann Durham at 8:45

Interviews for Rotary Scholarship Applicants will be taking place from 2-3:30 on Thursday, May 31st.

The Rotary’s MOAS, Student of the Month and RYLA student picnic is taking place on Tuesday, June 12th at O.P. Frederick’s at 6:15PM.  All MOAS, Rotary Students of the Month, and RYLA students are invited and requested to attend!

Next week’s Activity Period is for Student Council

The ice cream social event for all 13 Homebases who participated in the Human Mosaic Project will be taking place on Wednesday, May 30th in the Atrium during lunch 6b and lunch 7a.

Medquest is a free opportunity to participate in a Career Exploration program in Health Careers taking place at Albany Medical on July 9th-13th.  This is a competitive but exciting program to learn more about the many pathways in Medicine and in Healthcare.  Please come to Guidance if you are a 10th or 11th grade student who is interested in learning more.

The North Country Community College is hosting a Healthcare Careers exploration event at their Ticonderoga Campus this July.  On July 24th from 7:30 to 3:30, there will be free activities and lunch for those who sign up to participate.  Students in Grades 8-11 who would like to learn more about careers in Healthcare are invited and encouraged to come.  For more information and to register, please stop by the Guidance Office.

                                           

 Attention Seniors:  For those who have completed a Hunter Education course, there is a scholarship available.  Please stop by Guidance for more information.  Many scholarships have due dates coming up!  Please be sure to complete your applications.

The YMCA is hiring summer camp counselors, ages 16 and over to work for the month of July.  This program will provide 4 weeks plus 25 hours of paid training.  If you are interested, please contact Tammie LaGuerre at the YMCA Outreach center.
