New Feature: Achievements
When completing certain tasks inside of Pokemon Tectonic, you will now unlock Achievements! These are maintained between saves, so you’ll only ever have to complete them once on a given device. Some achievements will be hidden until either accomplished or until you’ve reached the credits at least once. The Achievements List can be viewed from the main menu or the Game Info menu in-game. 3.2 will launch with 30 achievements. More might be added in future updates.

New Feature: Binocular Spots
Throughout Makya you will now be able to find spots where viewing binoculars have been set up for use by the public. When you interact with them, you will receive a preview of a northern part of the current area. You can move this viewing window around, up to 6 tiles west or east, and up to 3 tiles north or south.

Binocular spots can be found in the following areas:
- Eleig River Crossing
- Eleig Stretch
- Frostflow Farms
- Canal Desert
- Split Peaks
- Kilna Ascent
New Feature: Poké X-Ray
The Poké X-Ray is a new tool item which can be used to view the teams of nearby trainers. It’s granted out by Professor Tamarind before you leave Casaba Villa for the mainland. Saves that are already past that point will automatically receive their item upon conversion to 3.2

Content Changes
Nora’s Quest
- Behind a locked door in the Makyan Capitol Building, you can find a library containing Nora, a rowdy young trainer intent on deciphering an ancient Makyan myth…
- This new quest will add a previously unavailable legendary Pokemon to the game
- The quest is post-Tournament only

New Boss Loot

- Gave the Zygarde Cube the ability to change Zygarde’s form directly from base form to 50% form, or vice versa.

Collection Rewards Changes

- Added area-based Collection Rewards for 20 different areas that previously didn’t have any. These are areas that only have one encounter zone, and so were previously deemed too fiddly for this system back when it worked differently.
- Added large rewards for collecting all species in the Velenz Menagerie and in the Ocean Fishing Contest.
- Area-based Collection Rewards scale their reward with how far they are in the game. The categories are Casaba Island, Pre-Surf, and Post-Surf

Map completely redone:

- If you return to her and show her the primal clay, she unlocks the ability to “clone” minor legendaries. By spending an Origin Ore, and showing her an existing one of these Pokemon, she will create another one of them for you (or their least evolved form, as appropriate):

- Reworked how Origin Ore based evolutions work. When leveling up or pressing the “Evolve” button in the party when beyond the level threshold, if you have an Origin Ore in your bag, a prompt will activate that asks you if you wish to spend an Origin Ore. If so, the Pokemon will undergo its Hisuian evolution.
- If the Pokemon has a non-Hisuian evolution it also meets the level requirements for, that will take place instead if you either have no Origin Ore, or if you say “No” to the prompt about using it.
- Added a confirmation prompt when using a Stink Bomb that tells you how many trainers it will affect, and allows you to decline to use it
- Added a sound effect and a particle effect when deploying a Stink Bomb

- Slightly desaturated the backgrounds for the party showcase screen so that it’s easier to read
- Removed the “Attempting to apply your Randomizer rules…” message from starting a randomizer that mostly just confused people
- When multiple stat step changes are being applied to a Pokemon at the same time, all step changes of the same amount are lumped together. E.g. “Pikachu’s Attack and Defense were lowered by 2 steps!” rather than listing those in two separate messages.
- On the pause menu, MasterDex, MoveDex, and Battle Guide are now grouped together into a button called “Documentation”, taking the former MasterDex spot. The “Game Info” button is now called “Game State” instead.

- Dissipation, a special Normal-type move that destroys rooms. 90 BP.
- Both have been given very wide distribution among Normal-types
- The health loss from Belly Drum now rounds up rather than rounds down. This prevents a weird interaction where Pokemon with even total HP values would be able to activate Sitrus Berry with Belly Drum from full HP, but Pokemon with odd values would not. Now, both can.

- Reworked Shred Shot and Shrapnel. No longer have recoil equal to 33% of your current HP, rather have recoil equal to 10% of your max HP (like Life Orb.)
- Added Fragmentation, a special Steel-type move at 115 BP which has the Life Orb downside.
- Dream Feast (Hypno’s signature move) can now overheal with its drain.

- Stockpile raises defensive stats by 2 steps rather than 1

- Saves that have already looted those 10 Ultra Balls will receive this item upon conversion to 3.2.0

- Interacting with a Pokemon now gives that Pokemon 3 happiness, rather than 1

- Reduced the price of Ability Capsules from 1500 to 1000
- Added a new phone call that can trigger once you’ve registered 12 Pokemon in the MasterDex but before you’ve had the PokEstate enabled. In this call, Alondra (the PokEstate Caretaker) explains the same things as in the cutscene at Feebas’ Fin, and enables the PokEstate for you. This makes Collection Rewards now available earlier in the game.
- HP-based effects are now reduced against Avatars by that Avatar’s specific HP multiplier, rather than by a flat 1/6th for all Avatars.
- This will mainly cause legendary Avatars to take less damage from statuses and gain less health from healing, and cause summoned Avatars to take much more damage from statuses and gain much more health from healing.
- Rayquaza will now change into its Delta form when it enters battle with Dragon Ascent learned
- Overflow EXP from the use of EXP candies is now stored in the EXP-EZ Dispenser

Modding and Debug Changes
- Introduced the PBS Extensions feature. If you place a PBS file (e.g. “pokemon.txt”) inside a plugin, it will be hot loaded at runtime. This only works for defining new content, and will not work for trying to edit existing content.
- pokemon.txt
- abilities.txt
- moves.txt
- regionaldexes.txt
- trainertypes.txt
- trainers.txt
- metadata.txt
- items.txt
- Added files in the --MOD TEMPLATE-- plugin that are examples of using this system.
- Introduced new helper methods for door-based teleports
- Introduced a new, very flexible, helper method for healing stations and similar
- Added a trigger for loading new BattleHandlers after Game Data has been loaded.
- This allows you to, e.g. set up code to automatically create a BattlerHandler for every Ability with a certain flag.
- This is how the entry text for MoldBreaking abilities is handled!
- Avatar definitions now support version numbers, thereby allowing there to be more than one different Avatar defined for a single species.
- Changed how Avatar graphics are organized inside the Graphics/Pokemon folder.
- The “Settings” module has been moved from inside the RPGMaker Scripts Database to a new “_Settings” plugin.
- Restored the Generation property in Tectonic’s base pokemon.txt.
- Added debug commands to change a pokemon's hue shift or shade shift. They can shift much more than the game does by default.
- Species sprite positioning is now defined in pokemon_metrics.txt rather than pokemon.txt (like how it is in Essentials v20 forwards)
- Added a “TypeSetting” flag for items like Crystal Veil
- Added a new translation debug command which only exports text which has no translation in the currently set language
