Director of SASS sworn in
Del Perro (City Hall) -- On April 4, 2022, Richard Starr was nominated by Governor Vlad Tod to run the San Andreas Security Service. SASS is a newly founded government agency, dictated by HR 103 which was written and proposed by Representative Becks Lawson, and was signed into law by Governor Tod. SASS’s primary duty is to provide a standardized security force to Mount Zonah Medical facility, staff the Department of Corrections at Bolingbroke prison, and provide the San Andreas judiciary with Bailiffs for court proceedings.
Richard Starr has worked for Mount Zonah since January 2022, being promoted to the Deputy director of security during his short tenure there. Before moving to Mount Zonah, Director Starr worked for the FBI as a Supervisory Special Agent in Los Angeles, California. Starr comes from a long line of Law-Enforcement work, starting in the field in early 2000. Starr was sworn in as the Director of SASS on April 9, 2022, at City Hall by Chief Justice MacLamar.
