Find the 3 quotes here
Here is some guidance for today’s discussion:
Inside the circle | Outside the circle |
- Time to participate!
- Be active in discussion for the 10 minute block
- Speak a lot, but be aware of other’s thoughts and ideas (i.e. don’t trample someone mid-sentence)
- Be respectful
- Consider:
- REACT (for intros) - you can discuss variations on the Explanation (word choice, phrasing, etc.)
- ICE / PEAS for body - discuss which works of literature may work with Explanation (Crucible?)
- Discuss HOW to write this essay (think of it as an outline)
| - Be an active listener
- Make valid observations about the inner circle discussion (tweet away!)
- Take notes on what you hear the inner circle discuss (this will be useful for tomorrow’s follow-up discussion)
- Consider:
- Writing down Explanations
- Commenting on Explanations/discussion items
- Thinking of additional books that fit the Explanations
