Honoured Sir,

The honourable Mr Bárczy took delivery of 15 photographs from me, photographs which I took in his palace, with the aim that he should send the said photographs to you. I hope that by now, Honoured Sir, you will have received them. As I do not know, however, whether, along with the photographs, the honourable Mr Bárczy also sent you my letter, I now feel emboldened to repeat my request that you would be so kind as to send me a small signed drawing, which I should like to treasure as a permanent memento.

Please accept the photographs as a token of my profound admiration. The opportunity to take them, as afforded by you, Honoured Sir, gave me great pleasure.
