DLA010-0016  Translation

Budapest IX.,

Üllői út 33-37.

My dear Friend,

[The following in English in the original]: Happy New Year to you all.

I received your letter and I attended to the matter immediately – but I cannot brag about the outcome. Here nobody knows anything. I have to conclude that the person in question was referring to the awards which were given by the Earl’s Court jury[1] as we were not in any way informed about these. I only received a very appreciative letter from the Directorate. Perhaps you too will receive a similar one, and that is all.

I read about your stay at the German Court and your successes in Berlin. I was very pleased by this.

I wish to be remembered to Mrs. László [in English] and I remain, with cordial greetings, | Yours sincerely,                                                                                                                                                                                  Jenő Radisics[2]

Editorial Notes:

Undated letter, but probably from 1906. See fn 1.
