GETTING STARTED           

Welcome!  Today you will be assigned to complete all kinds of different digital learning activities.  Below you will find the names of your teachers and your classes along with what you will need to accomplish for today.  If you do not have internet service, please complete the activities that do not require connectivity.  If you are lacking internet, consider the projects you could work on or the tests for which you could study.  Assignments are listed by subject area and grade level by teacher. Reminder to Students & Parents:  Teacher lessons will be posted by 10am this morning.

ATTENDANCE 

Students must check in with their 1st Period teacher via Google Classroom, ALEKS, Canvas, or school email by 8 PM of the actual eLearning day to be counted “present”.  If you are unable to communicate with your teacher electronically, please contact the MGHS main office at the number below and leave a message.  

NEED HELP   

Contact your teacher via email or in the message features on Google Classroom, ALEKS, or Canvas as directed under their contact information.  Contact the MG Tech Office (948-3582) if you have any technical questions/issues throughout the day.  Contact the main office with other non-classroom questions (948-4141) the office will be open until 3:30.

Intro to 2D Art

Students will practice the skill of making an image progressively abstract

Practice progressive abstraction by completing three small drawings. Starting with a realistic replication of the provided image, create two more drawings from the same image that become more simplified, ending with the most simple or abstract drawing. You should have three pencil drawings completed before class tomorrow. Take a photo of your drawings and submit on GC as proof of your work today!
