Frequently Asked Questions:
- How far in advance do I need to order? I normally book 4-6 weeks out.
- Do you make your cakes and cookies from scratch? Yes! All of my goodies are made from scratch. No box mixes here!
- Do you use fondant? I only use fondant for decorative details. I just don’t care for the taste of fondant and prefer buttercream, so that’s what I use.
- Do you make wedding cakes? No. At this time I do not making wedding cakes or grooms cakes.
- Does my cake need to be refrigerated? No. The best place to store your cake is at room temperature. I would suggest placing your cake in the refrigerator ONLY if the room temperature is very warm and your buttercream icing starts to soften. It’s also a good idea to put your cake in the fridge for about 10 minutes prior to removing it from the box to avoid any finger smudges.
- Do you deliver? Generally, no. But for large orders I may be able to accommodate a delivery request for a fee.
- How do I pay? You can pay by cash, check (made out to Emily Whisenant) or credit card when you pick up your order.
