Respected Sir,

On behalf of the Buda Dalárda[1] and its President Dr Ripka,[2] Mayor of Budapest, I take the liberty of forwarding the Mayor’s letter to you, Honoured Sir, with the request that if you were to be so kind as to see your way to promote us with your interest, goodwill, gracious advice and support, would you be so good as to let me know—since it is I to whom Dr Ripka has entrusted the task of making the technical arrangements for the Dalárda—at any time which might be convenient to you, what gracious advice and guidance you could offer us, since this will undoubtedly and in no small measure facilitate and promote the success of the Dalárda’s performance.

My thanks in advance, both in my own name and on behalf of the Dalárda, and with the sincerest expression of my regard,

I remain, | Your humble admirer,

Ferenc Kiss
