Mystery Writing Intensive

The workshop pace is responsive to the needs, interests and experience of the participants. Important topics related to writing crime fiction will be explored during the course of the workshop, including: conventions of the crime genre, how to craft a scene, plots and subplots, unreliable narrators, avenues to publishing, and genres and subgenres. Please use the timeline below as a general guide. Students usually do additional writing and revision in the evening as well.
