Term 3, Week 5  Room 10 Weekly Update

Hello to everyone

Cross Country

Next week we will be holding our qualifying event for those students interested in attempting to qualify for the New Plymouth Champs the week after. Based on our knowledge of the course and the quality of the runners sent from other schools we will then be making a decision on which students have qualified. We will keep you posted with further information on next weeks event.

Grocery Raffle

This week we are wanting anything for sweet making, chocolate buttons, icing sugar, condensed milk, sugar , butter, marshmellows etc. Please send these along to school. 

Weekly Events

• Mrs Dunlop will be in the classroom on Monday. I will be working on aspects of our Health and P.E. curriculum.
• Monday is also Frankley School’s birthday!
• It’s Book Fair week - Read the Notice
• Dress up as a Book Character on Wednesday
• Frankley School runners - training again this Tuesday (and Wednesday for the speedsters)
• Support our Pizza fundraiser by buying pizza or a juicy on Fridays

Coming up Week 6 - AWE swimming for rooms 10/11

Next week Room 10/11 will be participating in 4 sessions at the Aquatic Centre where they will explore water safety skills and strategies at the Aquatic Centre. We will be sending out a permission slip with more information in the next day or two.

Times will be 11am-12pm for Room 10  and 1pm to 2pm for room 11 Tuesday to Friday 

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you want to know any more information, have any concerns or wish to pop in to the class to see your child learning in action - I am sure they would love to have you in class to see what they are up to.
